Terms & Conditions

Welcome to The Pole and Aerial Unit. By booking, attending classes, or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these carefully.

1. General Information
1.1. The Pole and Aerial Unit provides pole and aerial classes, workshops, and related services.
1.2. By engaging with us through our studio, website, Team Up booking system, or social media platforms, you accept these Terms and Conditions.
1.3. We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

2. Bookings and Payments
2.1. All bookings must be made through the Team Up app or directly via our website.
2.2. Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot in a class or workshop.
2.3. We accept payments via Team Up’s integrated payment system. Additional fees may apply for late payments or failed transactions.
2.4. Bookings are non-transferable and must be used by the individual who booked.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
3.1. Cancellations by Participants:

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the class start time will receive a full credit for future use.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class start time are non-refundable.
3.2. Cancellations by The Pole and Aerial Unit:
Classes with fewer than 4 participants booked will be cancelled at least 6 hours before the start time. Participants will receive a full credit or refund for the cancelled class.
If we cancel a workshop, participants will be offered a full refund or credit towards a future booking.
3.3. Refunds are processed to the original payment method.


4. Memberships
4.1. Monthly memberships can be cancelled with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice before the renewal date.
4.2. Cancellations must be made in writing via email or through the Team Up app.
4.3. Membership benefits, including class access, will remain valid until the end of the current billing period.

5. Studio Rules and Conduct
5.1. Participants must arrive on time. Late arrivals may be refused entry without refund or credit.
5.2. Mandatory Warm-Up:
Warm-ups are an essential part of the class to ensure safety and prevent injuries.
Attendance at the warm-up is mandatory. Participants who arrive after the warm-up has started will not be permitted to join the class and will forfeit their booking without a refund or credit.
5.3. All participants must follow the instructor’s guidance to ensure safety and prevent injuries.
5.4. The studio environment must be respected. This includes:
Wearing appropriate attire for pole or aerial activities.
No use of oils, lotions, or jewellery during classes to prevent equipment damage and accidents.
Cleaning equipment after use with the provided cleaning materials.
5.5. Any disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the class without a refund.


6. Liability Waiver
6.1. By participating in classes, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with pole and aerial activities.
6.2. The Pole and Aerial Unit is not liable for injuries, accidents, or loss of personal property.
6.3. Participants must disclose any medical conditions or injuries that could affect their ability to safely participate.

7. Age Restrictions
7.1. Participants must be  18 or older to attend classes, unless specified otherwise.
7.2. Participants under the age of 18 must provide written consent from a parent or guardian.

8. Photography and Media
8.1. By attending classes or events, you consent to the use of photographs or videos taken during sessions for promotional purposes.
8.2. If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos, please inform us in advance.

9. Privacy
9.1. We handle your personal information following our Privacy Policy, which can be viewed on our website.
9.2. Personal data provided for bookings, payments, or mailing lists will not be shared without your consent.

10. Termination of Services
10.1. We reserve the right to terminate access to classes, workshops, or services at our discretion, including but not limited to breaches of these Terms and Conditions.
10.2. Refunds for terminated services will be provided at our discretion.

11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of  England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts.
